GATE or IES

The biggest dilemma after B.tech

education is an essential key to open up your mind and give the inspiration to work for humanity. From our childhood, we keep on listening to the value of education. Till high school, we all studied in the same group. But after it, we divided into three groups, science group, Arts group and biology group. All, these streams are totally based on our area of interest.

This is the story of all B.tech students who want to make their career on the technical side. GATE and IES are two major dilemmas in which all the technical student stuck on.

Gate (Graduate aptitude test in engineering) is an entrance exam which opens up many doors of your career.

  1. You can directly get the job on PSUs. But for this, you must have a good scorecard.
  2. You can also get the direct job in many government sectors through your scorecard.
  3. This is a gateway for your higher education in almost every institution of India.
  4. You can also apply for the teaching also only through your scorecard.

Whereas IES (Indian Engineering Services) is the highest steam job in technical sector of India. In this very limited vacancies are there and to qualify this exam you have to cross three barriers Pre, Mains and interview. You have to qualify each and every section.

If I talk about its syllabus then this is very vast. You have to give all your strength and full stamina to your each and every subject. To qualify this you need to strengthen technical as well as a non-technical section. Right now the syllabus has been revised and some of the subjects are added to it. IES checks all your knowledge, attitude, behaviour and your problem handling capabilities.

Basically, IES has vast syllabus and GATE has a limited syllabus. In GATE there is only 10% is non-technical part and rest of technical only. You can not prepare both the exams at the same time. You have to choose either GATE or IES.  Both have different level difficulty standards. Your mind should be focused in a straight direction only. If you keep oscillating in between these of two then this would be difficult for you to crack it. Because these two exams need your 100% mental ability and your full stamina.

You need not worry at all about choosing GATE or IES.  First you need to know about your area of interest and later on, you need to work in that direction only. Just remember nothing is out of your reach. You just have to understand in which direction you have to move.

The Struggle of TeenAgers

STRUGGLING TEENS, A battle for the better life

It’s true that after taking birth, we take two more, one while we are selecting our future and secondly when we got married. These two phases are breath holding stages of one’s life. These two decisions play an important role to shape our lives. But now we have been entangled in the net of society and we call it struggle.

  • The tide of trendy education

In 19’s we educate ourselves for battle (war’s) and now we are battling for education. We have been completely bounded in the arena of grades. We Keep fighting to win that battle and to get good grades. But for all struggling teenagers, the real battle starts after the completion of graduation, where their good grades are not sufficient to win that battle and that we called a real battle for a better life (better future). We choose that orientation (career), which is more progressive and in the trend of the education system. We are ready to flow in any current, whichever seems little trendy and profitable. That’s why we keep searching for what to do and how to do.

  • Reputation of career

We can’t choose our career out of the box because we are not allowed to do so. To make our passion as a future takes lots of guts because then we would consider as anti-social elements. The pressure of repute career creating a struggle for teens and bounding their energy inside the nacelle.

  • The early age, earning

Without knowing what’s what we would rather concentrate on earning and that craving for earning disturbs the education system and after that our struggle becomes harder and harder because sometimes moral education learned us how to come over it and we never thought of this way. As a result, we keep running direction-less and goes nowhere very fast.

  • A load of your friend’s pocket

It’s a matter of self-esteem, I’m better than him so my salary must be better than that of. Due to this attitude, we can never be self-satisfied. This creates a high pressure inside for a better job and then we start struggling for our self-esteem and not for self-satisfaction. As a result, we bound our mind just for making money and in the race of high esteem salary, we actually forgot our inner passion and qualities that make us even more happy and satisfied.
